San Mateo County — District 4

San Mateo County has five geographic, numbered districts, each with its own supervisor. Together, the supervisors make the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors. North Fair Oaks is in District 4 alongside Menlo Park, Redwood City, and East Palo Alto. Warren Slocum is currently the supervisor of District 4 as well as the President of the Board of Supervisors. This board is responsible for overseeing county government operations and being part of boards that develop policies and projects that have a countywide impact on transportation, air quality, economic development, early childhood development and public safety. They also supervise the official conduct of county officers and employees, control all county property, and appropriates funding on programs that meet county residents’ needs.

As the supervisor of our district, Slocum is responsible for representing and advocating for the interests of the residents of North Fair Oaks. You can contact Slocum by email at wslocum@smcgov.org and by phone at (650)363-4570.
